An Escape Room is a live immersive experience. Players are ‘locked’ in a room and must solve a series of puzzles within 60 minutes in order to escape. Common sense goes a long way!

Teams made up of family members, friends or work colleagues. Escape Rooms are great for occasions, birthdays, team building events, hen/stag parties.

Approximately age 10 upwards, although this is just a suggestion and certainly not a requirement. There is nothing scary inside our games, so if you have a slightly younger child who enjoys puzzles they would be very welcome. Due to insurance requirements, 16’s and under must have an adult present within the game.

The Escape Room is on ground level so is suitable for wheelchair users and people with disabilities (only 80% of the Air Raid game is accessible for wheelchair users). The puzzles are not physical, however at least one of the group must be able-bodied to complete the game. The majority of the puzzles are visual and would therefore be suitable for those with hearing impairment.

Between 2-8 players can take part.

Yes you can, so long as you don’t go above the maximum number of 8. You can pay for the extra person when you are with us.

You arrive 10 minutes before your game, you have 60 minutes to escape the room and then we debrief you afterwards and take a photo. You would expect to be with us for an hour and 20 minutes.

Due to fire safety regulations the room is not actually locked, you can therefore leave at any time.

To give the team ahead of you time to finish please don’t arrive early. We suggest you arrive no more than 10 minutes before your game is scheduled to begin.

Suffolk Escape Room is based in an original war time Nissen Huts.
We are located at Wardspring Farm, Leiston Road, Saxmundham, Suffolk, IP17 1TG.
From Saxmundham take the B1119 Leiston Road that runs from the centre of Saxmundham, between Tesco and Waitrose. Follow the road out of town for a mile. On your left you will see a small copse of trees, immediately after on your left you will notice a wind turbine and a line of trees as the road curves. The wind turbine is on our property. Take a left turn up the track and you will see the Nissen Hut infront of you on the left of the track. You have arrived at Suffolk Escape Room!

There are 2 parking spaces right in front of the Escape Room, if both are occupied there is additional parking just 50 metres away.

If you wear glasses for reading please remember to bring them with you. No special clothing is needed. The Escape Rooms are located in outbuildings but we have a heating and air conditioning system in the rooms so you should feel comfortable in the summer and the winter.

There are toilets just 50 metres from the Escape Room.

Unfortunately we do not offer refunds. If you give us at least 48 hours notice then we will try to move your booking depending on our availability.

We are dog friendly. No one knows your pet like you, so long as you think your dog wont be too much of a distraction then we are more than happy for your 4 legged family member to help you sniff out the clues!
